Biographical Information

Despite spending six consecutive seasons in the Kansas City Royals organization, Jose DeJesus only managed to pitch 10 2/3 innings for the team. His two most productive seasons, in 1990 and 1991, were with the Philadelphia Phillies. he did come back to Kansas City in the 1994 season and was pitching well when the 1994 strike ended his major league career. His daughter Noelia De Jesús has been on the Puerto Rican women's national team.
