Biographical Information[edit]

Domingo Setién began announcing and commenting on baseball games at age 18. He spent 35 years producing programs on baseball and has broadcast games for more than a dozen Mexican League clubs. He has bene behind the mike for two no-hitters and the longest game in Mexican League history. He was given the "Golden Microphone" Award in 2001 by the National Association of Broadcasters and also has been honored by the Mexican Federation of Sportswriters.

In 2009, he was voted into Mexico's Salón de la Fama in the media category.
