Biographical Information[edit]

Second baseman Jack Meanor began his professional career in 1914, but did not play professionally again until 1922. He then played until 1925, then again in 1928. His statistical record is incomplete, however it is known that he hit .273 with 123 hits in 119 games for the Sherman Twins in 1923 and .241 in 116 games for the Sulphur Springs Saints in 1924.

He managed the Amarillo Gassers for the latter part of the 1922 season, replacing Billy Smith. He was replaced by Abe Bowman as skipper of the Sulphur Springs Saints in 1924.
