Biographical Information[edit]
Henry Spratt played two seasons in the big leagues. He was the first major leaguer out of Emory and Henry College in Virginia.
He hit .303 for Bridgeport in 1912 and .306 for Newport News in 1914. He managed Selma in 1913 and Newport News in 1914.
After baseball he became a lawyer. He is sometimes listed in baseball encyclopedias as Jack Spratt.
