Jack O'Connell

Jack O'Connell has been a sportswriter. He covered the New York Mets for the Bergen Record and New York Daily News from 1980-1988 and the New York Yankees for the Hartford Courant from 1989-1999. He then covered baseball nationally for the Courant for five years and then wrote for MLB.com. He has been secretary-treasurer of the Baseball Writers Association of America for about two decades and has served on the Hall of Fame Veterans Committee.
