Biographical Information[edit]
Frank Sellman played for five different teams in the five years of the National Association. In 1869, he had played for the amateur Baltimore Marylands.
Sellman played just about everywhere in the field, with the most common positions being catcher and third base. In 1869, he had been a second baseman. He also umpired 2 games in the National Association in 1873 and 3 in the American Association in 1882.
