Four-man rotation
(Redirected from Four-man starting rotation)
A four-man rotation is the most common rotation in the history of Major League Baseball. By the early part of the 20th Century, it was the norm and remained so until the 1970s, when the five-man rotation became increasingly common; since 1980, almost no MLB team has used a four-man rotation regularly.
