Biographical Information

In 2004, one internet site nicknamed Felix Heredia "The Run Fairy" for his generosity towards opposing teams on the mound. He was suspended by MLB on October 15, 2005 10 days for violating baseball's steroid policy, sentence to be served at the beginning of the 2006 season. Heredia, at the time dealing with injuries, never got back to the majors to serve his penalty.
