Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Edythe Perlick was one of the first players signed by the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League and played for the Racine Belles from 1943 to 1950. She hit .268 with a circuit-best 63 RBIs in the league's first years as the Belles won the championship. Overall, she hit .240 with 18 home runs and 392 RBIs in 851 games over the course of eight seasons and was a three time All-Star.
