Biographical Information[edit]
Lefthanded submarine-style pitcher Elon Hogsett played in 11 major-league seasons (1929-1938; 1944). Despite being sometimes nicknamed "Chief", he had very little native American ancestry.

- 200 Innings Pitched Seasons: 1 (1936)
- Won a World Series with the Detroit Tigers in 1935
