Biographical Information[edit]
Charlie Bierman is apparently the same player known as Charley Bearman. source Bearman played for the Mutuals through 1868, and joined Troy that year, pitching several games while coming back in 1869. He played for Morrisania as well as the Marylands in 1870, playing first base and second base. In the 1871 National Association, he played for the Ft. Wayne Kekiongas in one game, appearing at first base. At age 26, he was the second-oldest player on the team.
