Bases loaded
(Redirected from Bases-loaded)
The term bases loaded refers not to what is in the bases, but rather to a situation when there are baserunners at all three bags: first base, second base and third base. A situation with the bases loaded is one of the most exciting times in baseball, because a variety of run-scoring situations are possible. A home run hit with the bases loaded is called a grand slam.
