Utley himself had a couple of streaks of 5 games a couple of years ago and he can tie those on Saturday.
The record, of course, is 8 games, held by Dale Long, Don Mattingly, and Ken Griffey.

"Chase Utley you are the man!". R.I.P HK

R.I.P. indeed. When I listen to Phillies games I am still surprised not to hear Harry Kalas. Somehow his death still hasn't sunk in for me even though it's been more than a year. He is greatly missed.

Matt Kemp also has a streak of four games with a home run. I wonder why he isn't getting the props that Utley has been getting. Because his games have been ending closer to when people on the east coast wake up compared to when they go to sleep?
