Papelbon’s bad day

When Jonathan Papelbon blew the game against the Angels a few days ago, he became just the second pitcher to blow a save in the post-season while recording 3 or fewer outs and allowing 6 or more baserunners:

It's interesting that the other guy to do it was also pitching for Boston. Of course, in the case of the Timlin game, the Red Sox went on to score off Mariano Rivera in the 9th and win the game. This was the first game in a streak of 4 that Boston won to come back from down 3 games to win the ALCS.
No such luck for Boston this year.
