In all the full-seasons since the last work stoppage in baseball, which young starting pitchers had at least 10 wins in the first half of a season? Via Play Index, here's the answer...
From 1996 to 2010, SP age 25 or younger with 10+ wins within his team's first 81 games.

This is an interesting mix of guys who stayed good and those who did not stay good. Jeremy Bonderman, Shawn Chacon and Dontrelle Willis didn't really work out all that well, in the end. But, Andy Pettitte, Mark Buehrle and Pedro Martinez turned out just fine, didn't they?
