Robinson Cano’s 3-hit 3-game streak

Posted by Andy on June 10, 2010

The Yankees' Robinson Cano has 3 hits in each of his last 3 games and is now leading the AL in hitting.

He joins Hanley Ramirez as the only players in 2010 with a 3-game streak with at least 3 hits per game.

The last players to get 4 such games in a row were Magglio Ordonez and Cody Ross, both in 2008.

Everyone who collected baseball cards in 1977 remembers the George Brett Record Breaker card, for the aforementioned 6 game streak of 3 ore more hits.
