Great names for pitchers
Posted by Andy on February 28, 2008
In today's spring training debut game for the Phillies, they pitched two guys with great names for pitchers:
1. Lincoln Holdzkom, whom I assume specializes in holds
2. Joshua Outman, whom I assume just gets people out.
Thanks to my friend Eric for pointing this out.

Scott Pitcher was a minor league pitcher, but Jake Thrower played the infield.

Bob Walk's control was decent, though he did led the league in wild pitches once.
Bruce Hitt gave up too many in his short stint.
Vic Power didn't have much, especially for a 1B.
Johnny Bench was in the starting lineup as much as possible.
Rusty Kuntz liked...um...ahem.

Rip Repulski was actually quite handsome.

And he could "rip" a little, with 4 seasons better than 100 OPS+

Can't believe we all forgot the classic Grant Balfour.
