Bloops: What It’s Like To Be a Pirates Fan

Posted by Neil Paine on May 3, 2010

With the Pirates in the midst of their 17th consecutive losing season in 2009, watch as two Mets fans and a Yankee fan go to Pittsburgh and live life as a Bucs fan for an entire game. (You may remember these guys from the similar pilgrimage they made to Rogers Centre in 2008, becoming Jays fans for a day.) Who knew that a gingerbread man wouldn't be a viable MLB mascot?

Wow. No wonder people don't like New York sports fans; they were incredibly condescending the entire time.

Hahaha i thought that was great, hopefully they visit my Royals next lol

  3. BalBurgh Says:

As a Bucs fan I can only say that was painful. Seventeen years of painful. And New York sprts fans are almost as annoying as the ones from Philly. At least the bit about how it was based on a novel by Michael Chabon was mildly amusing.

Wow, lame. I will not be waiting for the next installment of these NY d-bags.

If it makes any difference, these guys are clearly just as critical of their own teams. One of them has a blog devoted to taking down the Mets' owners:
