What’s going on in Toronto?

Posted by Andy on April 26, 2010

The game is through 5 innings, and both the Red Sox and Blue Jays have 9 runs, 12 hits, and a starting pitcher who completed only 3 innings. This game has already featured 8 different Blue Jays getting hits, two different Red Sox scoring 3 runs, two different 2-run singles by Jason Varitek who is supposed to be riding the pine, two triples, a runner thrown out at home, 6 doubles, and two stolen bases by the same guy (Dustin Pedroia).

In five innings!
