Piniero’s walks

Joel Piniero has significantly cut down his walk rate in the last several seasons, including a league-low 1.1 BB per 9 innings pitched last season.

Not a surprising list, except maybe for #3!! Pavano has always had a very low walk rate but I forget how effective he was last year in terms of lasting 7+ innings in lots of games.
