Who am I?

I averaged 30 HR for every 162 games I played and, despite playing more than 800 career games I topped 120 in a season only once.

"topped 120"? Is that OPS+, RBI or what?
(I'm guessing OPS+, but that stat is hardly mainstream enough to warrant not naming it.)

I think 120 is Games Played. Without looking at anything, I was going to say Fred Lynn.

Yeah 120 games played--sorry for being vague there.

By the way, Russell Branyan is the answer!

Ah, that did make more sense. Anyway, no fair including a non-retired player! 🙂
It is, for obvious reasons, far easier for a non-retired player to have weird and unique stats.

Uh, Russell Branyan played 134 games in 2002:

I was looking at Branyan's stats just the other day. Since 2002, he has gone Cleveland-Cincinnati-Milwaukee-Tampa-SanDiego-Philly-StLouis-Milwaukee(again)-Seattle, and now he's back with Cleveland. I saw him play for the Indians on the 4th of July, 2000 (http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CLE/CLE200007040.shtml). A typical Branyan day - two homers, a walk, and a strikeout.

Gerry - I also noticed the number of teams for which Branyan has played. In fact, it is the basis for my post tomorrow.
