A-rod's home run was the most talked about play of tonight's game. However, Rodriguez also tied a World Series record by being hit by 2 pitches. Rodriguez should be happy he escaped with a win. All of the previous 5 players who suffered through this fate also had to deal with their team losing :

Regarding Pie in Face technique.
Anyone notice that on 10/23...Soupy Sales died.
Soupy Sales, whose zany television routines turned the smashing of a pie to the face into a madcap art form, died Thursday night in NYC. He was 83.
Did they syndicate his shows in Arkansas ?

The other 5, between them, had one hit, a Yogi Berra single, in their other at-bats. ARod did better than the 5 combined.
