Atlanta Braves All-Time Leaders

Posted by Chris J. on August 17, 2007

Oh sure, you can find out Braves's All-Time leaders without PI, but what if you only want to look up franchise bests since coming to Atlanta in 1966.  That you need PI for.

Go to Batting Season Finder, set the yellow bar to career stats, and - here's the key point that's easy to miss - select "National League" where you see the league chooser.  That will automatically cause a list of NL teams to pop up.  Choose the Braves.  Now you can look up any stat you want.  Works the same for the Pitching Season Finder.

Without looking, can you name the 7 Braves' batters who had 1000 or more hits there?   If that's too easy, see if you can name the 13 hurlers who started 100 games for them.

Here's all Atlanta hitters who played in at least 500 games.   You can look up 1000 hits without too much difficulty.

And here's the pitchers who tossed at least 500 IP. Again, though it's not sorted by GS, it's easy to find that stuff.
