HAPPY RBITHDAY!!!!

Posted by Raphy on April 27, 2009

Yesterday, Kosuke Fukudome became the first player since 1954 to have 5 or more RBI on his 32nd birthday. Here are all the players since 1954 to have at least 5 RBI on their birthdays.

Nomar looks to have had the best birthday. However, if you look at the results of the second game of his team's double header (allowing 5 in the 9th to lose 5-4) , you have to wonder if he still had any interest in celebrating. Ouch.

It would be interesting to see who had the most career Hits, RBI, Wins, Saves, etc. on their birthdays. It would also be interesting to do a collective comparison of players' performances on their birthdays versus on other days. (for those born April through September.)
