Three homers for Pujols

Albert Pujols just hit his 3rd homer of the game today.
That's his 4th career 3-HR game. Here are the first three:

JT, you're right that I winced when I saw Carter on that list, but I had a stronger reaction to Steve Finley. While I obviously have no proof, evidence, or even suggestion, I am inclined to guess that Finley was a steroid user.

David- Ruth only had 2 regular season 3 HR games.

While Kingman was one of the worst hitters ever, however, the guy could mash. I always believed he was black balled bv MLB as he would have hit 500 homers had his career not ended in 1987. His record of 35 homers for a player in his last season will stand for a long time.

I don't think Kingman was blackballed. By the end of his career he was a guy who didn't play defense, didn't do much of anything except pop an occasional HR, and was kind of a jerk to boot. Sure, if he was a nicer guy, maybe he gets another chance, but who needs a DH with a .255 OBP? 35 HR or not, he wasn't a good player at that point.
Now Barry Bonds, he got blackballed.
