For good measure I threw in guys under 1.00.
Ron Mahay has certainly had an up-and-down career so far, especially considering that he first came to the majors as an outfielder.
Some other names that impress me are Jose Contreras, who has embraced his role with the Phillies, and Mariano Rivera, who keeps on chugging along.
Check out the same list from last year: guys appearing in at least 10 of their team's first 32 games (as relievers) as registering a 0.00 ERA:

Well looky there. Arthur Rhodes again. Since his return to the big leagues in 2008 he has been outstanding. A regular Jamie Moyer 🙂

Marmol's strikeout rate has been phenomenal.

Given his lengthy career as a reliever, Arthur Rhodes only has a handful of plate appearances, 5 total in 19 seasons. Despite several years in the NL, 4 of those at-bats (and his 1 hit, a single) came as an AL pitcher. (From this game in Philly, which he also won for Baltimore.)

Assuming Rhodes comes back next year--how many other guys played at least 20 years with only 1 hit?

Mariano rolls along at age 40. A WHIP of 0.56. Wow.

Bailey got lit up last night so he is off this list.

Villanueva and Clippard can also be removed from the list.

Something I just found out that I didn't realize:
Back in 2008, Rivera passed the 1000 IP mark and thus qualified for the pitching leaderboards. He's the active leader in ERA, WHIP, SO/BB, HR/9, ERA+ (by 60 points, best all time by 50 points), PtchR, RE24, WPA, REW, RF/9, and Fld%. If/when Trevor Hoffman retires, he'll also take over the active lead in G, S, GF, and H/9.

"how many other guys played at least 20 years with only 1 hit?"
Looks like only one -- Dan Plesac -- but a few others have come close:

Thanks for jinxing Clippard. I'm a Nats fan and had him on my fantasy team 🙂

To be fair, Raphy started it by posting about Clippard's 6-0 record 🙂
