Santana, Buehrle & Hampton

I was just going filter-happy with Baseball-Reference.com's Play Index Pitching Season Finder - setting it for: "Spanning Multiple Seasons or entire Careers, From 1973 to 2007, From Age 21 to 28, Throws LH, (requiring IP>=900, GS>=175, and G>=250), sorted by greatest ERAp" and, this is what I found:

Mark Buehrle? Who else would have figured him to be so close to Johan Santana here? Does that say something about Buehrle, Santana, or both?

Is Buehrle really so close to Santana? Sanata has huge edges in ERA+, W-L%, and ERA.
Frankly, I don't understand why any team wouldn't trade it's top 2 prospects for Santana. While Santana isn't a sure bet to continue as one of the game's top pitchers, that's more of a sure bet than ANY minor leaguer panning out, even as a top prospect. Santana has a huge distance he could slip and still be a solid #2 or #3 pitcher. Phil Hughes, Clay Buchholz...who knows?

I am not sure why you added the G>=250. That cuts out Barry Zito, Andy Pettitte, C.C. Sabathia, Mark Mulder, Dave LaPoint, Steve Trout (if you lower the age to 20), Jim Abbott, Steve Avery, Wilson Alvarez, Greg Swindell, Sid Fernandez, John Candelaria, Bob Knepper, Frank Viola, Mark Langston, Vida Blue, Frank Tanana, and Tom Glavine.
