Short-Season Leagues Underway

2009 New York-Pennsylvania League Statistics - Baseball-Reference.com

Our minor league site now contains the stats for the short-season and rookie leagues. We also were having some issues with the divisions in some of the minor leagues. I've cleaned those up and they should be corrected tomorrow.

    I kid you not...when I was little, around the same time I saw the made-for-tv Ron LeFlore tv drama, I figured NY-PENN was short for New York Penitentiary. I honestly thought (when I was ten) that it was a league for prisoners in state prisons. I mean, there was a team in Auburn, wasn't there?
