PI basics

Just thought I'd post some basics about how the PI works. I'm going to use Darnell Coles as an example since I mentioned him in my most recent post about 3-HR games.
Using batter-vs-pitcher, we can see who Coles faced the most.

Weird!) That is neat, good stuff.
At first glance, that groundout looks like the defense tried to get a double play to get out of the inning (the bases were loaded one out) but coles was safe at first and the game ended. This would be interesting enough but it says the ball was fielded by the left fielder. My guess is that the Indians tried a 7-8 man infield a la Rays in Game 3 of the world series.
