Biographical Information[edit]
Tsai-Sheng Weng played in the CPBL and for the Chinese Taipei national baseball team.
Weng represented Taiwan in the 1997 World Youth Championship, 2003 World Port Tournament, 2003 Baseball World Cup and 2004 Haarlemse Honkbalweek. He went 2 for 13 with a walk, run and a RBI in the 2003 World Cup, splitting catching with Chao-Kuan Wu. He was 0 for 1 in the Haarlemse Honkbalweek. The Macoto Cobras drafted Weng in the 1st round of the 2004 CPBL Draft, and he batted .156/.269/.178 in his rookie year. Weng improved and recorded a .272/.353/.340 batting line in 2007. The Cobras released Weng after 2007, and he then decided to retire. Weng was a high school coach after retiring.
