Biographical Information[edit]
Tommy Reis served in the United States Army in Europe during World War II.
Reis was a twenty-year minor leaguer who, in parts of two different seasons, was one of three different people who served as manager of the team for which he played. His first managerial stint came in 1950 when he served as the manager of the Oklahoma City Indians. The second and final time he served as a manager was in 1954 with the High Point-Thomasville Hi-Toms.
After his baseball career, he was the activities director for Federated Department Stores in Cincinnati, OH.
