Terence White has caught for the South African national team. He hit .417 with 6 RBI for South Africa in the 2000 World Junior Championship, leading them in average. In the 2007 Baseball World Cup, White went 3 for 10 as part of an effective backstop duo with Warren Herman, a rare bright spot for South Africa. He was 0 for 2 in the 2008 Final Olympic Qualification Tournament, backing up Kyle Botha. He was on the South African roster for the 2009 World Baseball Classic and played one game but did not bat. He is expected to play in the 2009 Baseball World Cup as well.
