North Padre Island, TX

North Padre Island is located in eastern Texas, on Padre Island in the Gulf of Mexico; it separated from the mainland and the city of Corpus Christi, TX by a long channel. The settlement is at the northern tip of the island, most of which is a protected natural area as part of the Padre Island National Seashore. Bill Stein settled here after his playing days.
