Missouri Valley League
There were two leagues called the Missouri Valley League in the first decade of the 20th century. The first one played as a class D league in 1902 & 1903 and Class C in 1904, after which it became the Western Association. The second was a class C league that only played in 1905. Travel costs led to a dispute between the Kansas and Indian Territory factions and the latter split off to form the South Central League in 1906.
