Masalu Miyaguti
Masala Miyaguti was the starting left fielder for the Brazilian national team in the 1959 Pan American Games. Though he hit 9th in the order, he was one of their top offensive performers. The Chicago Tribune carried box scores for four of Brazil's six games; in those contests, he was 4 for 10 with a double, triple, steal and two runs; he had two hits against Mexico and tripled against Venezuela. He also was on the Brazilian squad for the 1963 Pan American Games.
