Biographical Information[edit]
Martin Duda had a 1.13 ERA to lead the Czech national team in the 1997 European Championship, their first major tournament ever (he had helped them qualify in the 1996 B-Level European Championship. Duda was 0-1 and allowed 7 runs in 3 1/3 IP in the 1999 European Championship after having spent the summer playing college ball in the US.
He allowed two runs in four innings in the 2001 Extraliga. It was his only appearance in the Czech Republic's top league from 1995-2005.
