Biographical Information[edit]
Mac Scarce was a lefthanded reliever for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1972 to 1974. In 1973 he posted an ERA of 2.42. He was a workhorse in 1973 and 1974, appearing in more than 50 games each season. He later made brief appearances with the New York Mets in 1975 and the Minnesota Twins in 1978. He also played for the Toledo Mud Hens in 1974 and 1978.
