Biographical Information[edit]
Kenji Suzuki has caught for the Japanese national team. He hit .154/.267/.231 in the 2006 Intercontinental Cup and also played in the 2006 Asian Games. In the 2007 Baseball World Cup, he batted .238/.333/.333 as Japan's primary backstop but allowed only one stolen base in three times. In the Bronze Medal game, he was 0 for 3 with a walk in a win over the Netherlands. He is playing in the 2009 Asian Championship.
