Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Jose Rosario began his professional career at 17 years old in the New York Yankees system in 2009 after being signed by scout Angel Ovalles. In 2011, he hit .311/.354/.492 in 48 games, but slumped near the Mendoza Line in the succeeding two seasons. In 2014, he was back up to .310/.372/.422 in 84 games. He reacehed Triple A for the first time in 2015 and returned there briefly in 2016. For 2017, he signed with the Boston Red Sox as a free agent.

He was a Gulf Coast League Post-Season All-Star in 2011, and a New York-Penn League Mid-Season All-Star in 2013.
