Biographical Information[edit]
Joe Fitzgerald caught in the minors from 1919 to 1927, six of those years in the Blue Ridge League.
Fitzgerald was the Washington Senators bullpen catcher from 1945 to 1947, a Senators coach from 1948 to 1956, and a scout for the Senators and Minnesota Twins from 1957 until his death.
