Jeffrey Calderone pitched briefly in the minor leagues, then spent many years in Europe.

Calderone was 1-0 with 7 2/3 shutout innings for the 1989 Pulaski Braves and 2-2 with a 5.66 ERA in 23 games that year for the Sumter Braves. In 1990, he was 4-7 with 3 saves and a 3.38 ERA in 46 outings for the Burlington Braves. He struck out 75 in 83 innings. Despite having had an ERA right around his team's average (3.340, it was Jeffrey's last season in the Atlanta Braves system.

Calderone came to Europe in 1992. In 2000, he went 11-0 for ADO to tie Patrick Beljaards for the most wins in Hoofdklasse. He allowed four runs and eight baserunners for the Konica Minolta Pioniers in 2005 to end his Hoofdklasse career. He also coached in the Hoofdklasse, including for RCH.

He was 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA for the Croatian squad Olimpija Karlovac in the 2008 European Cup, losing a game to FC Barcelona of Spain. He remained active with Croatian baseball and coached for the Croatian national team in the 2009 Baseball World Cup, their first Baseball World Cup ever. He managed Croatia in the 2010 European Championship.
