Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Jason Beverlin had cups of coffee in the majors with the Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers in 2002. He played in Japan in 2003, 2004, and 2006 and missed the 2005 season due to Tommy John surgery. Beverlin joined the staff at Georgia Southern University in July 2007, serving as pitching coach for 2008-2009. He was pitching coach at the University of Tennessee in 2010-2011. From 2012 to 2017, he was the head coach of Bethune-Cookman University. Beverlin became an area scout in the Carolinas for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2018.
