Biographical Information[edit]

Jake Uhlenpopp umpired one major league game on May 20, 2009 when he filled in for an ill James Hoye in a game played at Dodger Stadium.

He was a minor league umpire from 2000 to 2009 after graduating form the Jim Evans umpire school, reaching the AAA Pacific Coast League and also working major league spring training games. After retiring as a professional umpire, he continued to work Division I collegiate games in the western U.S. while working as a financial services supervisor. He completed an MBA from the University of Phoenix after his retirement.
