Biographical Information[edit]
Jaime Garcia coached in the Chicago White Sox chain in 1988-1996 with the GCL White Sox in 1988-1991, South Bend White Sox in 1992-1993, South Bend Silver Hawks in 1994, and Prince William Cannons in 1995-1996. He was in the Milwaukee Brewers chain with the Beloit Snappers in 1997 and the Texas Rangers chain in 1998-1999. He was with the Kansas City Royals in 2000-2002 with the Charleston Alley Cats in 2000 and the Royals' Latin American pitching coordinator in 2001-2002. He coached for the Cincinnati Reds system next, with the 2003 Dayton Dragons and 2004-2006 GCL Reds. He was assistant pitching coordinator for the Houston Astros from 2007-2010 then was their minor league pitching coordinator in 2011 before becoming pitching coach of the GCL Astros in 2012. Garcia moved to the Detroit Tigers chain as pitching coach of the Erie SeaWolves in 2013-2014.
