Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Jack Zalusky played in seven games for the New York Highlanders in their first season in New York in 1903. He hit .313 on a team that hit .249, although he showed no power.
Born in Minneapolis, MN, he had played for the Minneapolis Millers in 1902. In 1904 the Highlanders traded him to Toledo, although the Toledo Mud Hens site does not list him as ever having played for the team.
After his major league days he continued to play in the minors, including four years at Denver.
