Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Jack Cummings had a major league career Adjusted OPS+ of 145, albeit in a short career. That puts him one point above Hack Wilson and two above Harmon Killebrew.
Cummings in 1926, 1927, and 1928 had a batting average over .300, an on-base percentage over .400, and a slugging percentage over .500 each season. In 1927 he hit .363 in 80 at-bats while in 1928 he slugged .630 in 27 at-bats.
