George Meyers played five games for the Philadelphia Athletics in 1890.

His birth and death details were confused with those of one Henry Meyer, also from Philadelphia, PA, but he was in fact known as George Meyers, and not as Henry Meyer or Henry Meyers, as listed in many sources.
