Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Harry Marnie played three seasons with the Philadelphia Phillies, getting most of his at-bats in 1941.

Marnie went to South Philadelphia High School. The book Danny Litwhiler says that Marnie was a "young, inquisitive infielder" who was full of questions about players on other National League teams.

In 1940 he made the all-star team in the Can-Am League.

In 1943 he played service ball with Ducky Detweiler.
