H. P. Meikleham
Captain Harry P. Meikleham was the manager of the Massachusetts Mills (later Pepperell) for most of the early 20th century. He was president of the Georgia State League for the 1921 season. Meikleham was also a Colonel in the National Guard, and chairman of the Lindale, Georgia militia district. H.P. was a relative of Septimia Anne Randolph Meikleham, who was the last surviving granddaughter of Thomas Jefferson. Along with his other many positions Meikleham was the vice president of the Georgia Industrial Association.
