Biographical Information[edit]
Francisco Trejo reached AA as a player.
In 1998, he debuted with the DSL Diamondbacks (2-0, 0.68) and AZL Diamondbacks (2-5, 6.42, 27 BB, 48 K in 40 2/3 IP). The next year, he was with the AZL Diamondbacks (0-2, Sv, 3.18, 19 BB, 10 WP, 30 K in 28 1/3 IP) and High Desert Mavericks (6 R, 7 BB, 3 WP in 6 2/3 IP). In 2000, Trejo was with the Missoula Osprey 93-3, 4.08), South Bend Silver Hawks (1-2, 2.96) and El Paso Diablos (2 R, 1 ER in 5 IP). He split 2001 between the Yakima Bears (2-2, Sv, 5.90, .352 opponent average) and Lancaster JetHawks (4 R in 9 IP).
Francisco's last two seasons were both with Lancaster. He had a 4-10, 6.91 record with 68 walks in 86 innings in 2002 and was 1-1 with a 5.02 ERA in 2003.
Trejo later scouted for the Cincinnati Reds and coached in their chain.
